What is Anchor?

Anchor is a faith foundation course that helps you develop a solid foundation in the Christian faith – like an anchor that provides stability. The course is particularly suitable for people who are new to faith and part of our church.

The course provides an overview of central contents of the Christian faith and what it means to follow Jesus. This includes:

  • A vibrant relationship with Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
  • Your identity in Christ
  • Practical aspects of Christian discipleship like prayer, Bible reading, and fasting
  • Basic biblical teaching, especially the gospel

Anchor is more than just knowledge transfer – it's a shared journey in faith, in an open, friendly, and relaxed atmosphere. The course takes place in small groups with a maximum of 12 participants, lasts about three months, and usually meets once a week. Additionally, there is monthly 1:1 mentoring to promote personal growth.

Adults 18 and older can participate who are ready to engage with the course according to the F.A.T. principle:
Faithful (reliable), Available (available), Teachable (teachable).
